Excerpt from the interview:

Allison: There’s so many benefits of doing video. Speaking of benefits, I was wondering if you would be willing to share some strategies that entrepreneurs can start putting into place to start using video for their businesses?

Scott: Absolutely! I teach people the Live Video System.

It is a way for you to create video and create content in an authentic way to connect with your audience easily and effortlessly. Live video system doesn’t mean you’re broadcasting it live, but you don’t have to have video editors, or a video crew. You don’t have to have all these things that are going to take time, energy, and effort out of the process.

LIVE stands for four different things.

The L stands for low risk. I shared with you a little bit about the things that I had done, and I took my whole 401k savings and put it into these three beautiful films. They were very risky for me, and risk was an irreversible negative outcome.

When they failed, when they didn’t produce the return that I expected, I’m in the corner, rocking back and forth, having this total negative outcome moment.

Well, if you could reduce that risk, if you can create lots of content that is smaller and that doesn’t have the guilt and shame that could come with it, you’re going to be able to create more content.

The entrepreneurial journey is not a straight line.

You’re going to have failures, you’re going to have pivots, you’re going to have twist and turns and so you want to have low risk content.

The I stand for instant. As soon as you’re done talking, you’re done making your video and it just makes it so much easier.

Next is Valuable. You’re sharing valuable content.

And then E is Everyday life. You’re making yourself easily accessible to people and how you do things.
