Podcasting is a huge part of my business model.

I feel like the world lies to the everyday business owner by telling us that business has to be complicated.

And I don’t think that’s true. In fact, I know that it’s not true and it doesn’t have to be complicated.

It’s harder to make sales and it’s harder to build a profitable business when you overcomplicate the entire thing. That’s why I’m passionate about helping entrepreneurs simplify and create a business model that makes sense to them.

When I think of a simple business model, I like to include five main pieces. The first one is long form content. The second one is a community builder. The third is a list builder. The fourth are your offers (what you’re selling.) And the fifth thing is your marketing system.

If we can focus on these five pieces of our business, we’re good to go.
