Allison: How important is the logo and brand colors on your website? Do they need to be everywhere? Do you put them in certain places?

Julie: Let me reiterate this: don’t overthink it. First of all, don’t spend too much time on it. Go with your intuition. You can find logos on Creative Market or Etsy for really reasonable prices.

If you are creative, you can create your own logo in Canva.

Canva (here’s my affiliate link) also has logo templates you can tweak with your company name or your personal name. Remember, it’s not permanent. If you change your mind in six months from now, just change it.

We’re not Nike or Lululemon. We spend so much time thinking that our logo is so important and it has to be perfect, but it doesn’t because what matters the most is you.

You matter, people buy you, they don’t buy what you do.

Yes, create a logo. If it’s not a 10, it doesn’t matter. Get it to a likable place. We can spend so much time in creation mode because sometimes that’s fun, but it keeps us from doing the hard stuff like selling!
