Hey friend, I’m back with another episode!
In this episode I’m going to help you take action on Instagram. I know you want to see growth. I know you want to build your audience and build your brand on the platform, but like me, I am sure you fall into the rabbit hole of scrolling. You’re comparing your Instagram account and your brand to other influencers on Instagram.
I’m here to tell you, you don’t need to do that anymore. Take a deep breath. I am going to share with you the three C’S to taking action on Instagram: the three C’S to growth.
Let’s talk about Instagram growth. A lot of you might be thinking that you need to be doing everything on the platform. You need to be super consistent with IGTV, live, reels, stories, and you’re spinning your wheels. You’re about to give up on Instagram because you’re not seeing growth.
So let me tell you what I think you should be doing. And it comes down to the three C’S to Instagram growth. Follow the three C’S, and you will see growth over time. The three C’s are Clarity, Create and Consistency.
Clarity. You need to have clarity on your brand. What do you stand for? What do you want to be known for? Get clarity on your brand. Get clarity on your audience. Who are you here to serve? Who are you here to help and then get clarity on your Instagram intentions? Why are you even on this platform in the beginning? Why are you here? So go back to your brand clarity and clarity on your audience. You’re here to serve your audience. So what are your intentions for being on Instagram? Are you new to Instagram? Are you here to build connections? Are you here to build an audience? Are you here to build credibility and authority in your niche?
Are you here to build your email list? So come up those three items under the “clarity branch”. And then once you have clarity on your brand, your audience and in your tensions, then you can move over to the second C, which is create.
You need to create a plan for how you’re going to show up and you need to create your content. Based on your clarity, now you need to create a plan and you need to create your content. That is the second C to Instagram growth.
And then for the third C is you need to execute that plan with consistency. Consistency is what you define it. Don’t let other coaches come on here and tell you that you need to be posting seven days a week in your newsfeed. And you need to be showing up every single day in the Instagram stories.
And you needed to have 10 stories a day! That’s crap because your audience is different from their audience. So your consistency needs to be based on your brand clarity and your audience clarity. It all works together. You decide what your consistency is for this platform. So you need to come up with how you are going to show up based on your plan. If you’re only going to show up four days a week in your newsfeed and you want to be in your stories every day. Awesome. That’s great. The whole point is you need to execute with consistency. So create consistency that feels good to you.
So really quick, the three CS to Instagram growth is Clarity, Create and Consistency. Go back to brand clarity, your audience and what are your intentions for being on Instagram.
Then you want to create your content and create a plan. And then you want to execute with consistency. Are you going to batch your content that you create? What is your daily activity going to look like?
